WHAT IS THE FAIRE ALL ABOUT? |
||
 The Connecticut Renaissance Faire isn't the same old agricultural faire you grew up with as a kid. It is a mythical journey into the romantic age of King Arthur and his brave Knights of the Round Table. Visitors to the realm will meet hundreds of highly interactive characters who have trained for many months or even years to bring the role they are playing to life. Where else can YOU get knighted by a King or one of his knights for proving your skills at arms or wit?
With over 40 hours of live entertainment daily, a Kids Courtyard filled with free kids games and hundreds of interactive characters - there is always something to see and do at our festival.

THE SITE Where is the Connecticut Renaissance Faire? How long should I plan to visit? If I leave the festival can I get back in?
Do you host birthday parties at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire? What is your weapon policy? Are you open in inclement weather? FOOD What kind of foods do you have? What is your policy on outside food & drink? GENERAL We love the Connecticut Renaissance Faire - can we get more involved? We also offer tuition-free theatrical training for selected candidates who audition to act in our show. Candidates will receive a variety of training that may include stage combat, period dialect, character development, public interaction, improvisational drama, singing, dancing, and much more. Auditions are held each Spring so watch our site for details or [join our e-mailing list] to receive an official announcement. I'd like to become an actor at the faire, but how? Can I bring my pet to the faire? Do I have to wear a costume? Do you have group & corporate rates? Do you have Season Passes? Can I take pictures and videotape? Do you offer discounted admission? Do you have any themed days?

 WHEELCHAIR INFORMATIONOur Faire is 99% wheelchair accessible with smooth roads, public restrooms, and stage performances easily reachable by wheelchair. Because we are on a soft site, we do not currently have storage or funding for rental wheelchairs. |

If that isn't enough spend the day shopping at over a hundred unique artisan and craft shops from around the United States. Or if you are feeling adventurous sample a delectable assortment of exotic foods from the past including turkey legs, bread bowl stews, Scottish eggs and tasty treats for all diets. 
Do you host weddings at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire?
Please respect performers' requests to have recording devices turned off during their show. Please feel free to use your digital or 35mm camera to capture the fun. Note: Commercial photography and filming activities are conducted at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire. You may appear in the resulting pictures or films that may be used in connection with advertising, news reporting, entertainment or other activities. Entry into the faire and/or purchase of an admission ticket constitutes your consent for the Connecticut Renaissance Faire to use the pictures and films without payment in any manner for any purpose they desire.
